I had the privilege to grow up with Lee and his wonderful brothers and family. Everyone wanted Lee to be their friend and playmate. Lee was always kind, considerate and fair. I always looked up to Lee. While most walk behind Christ, Lee is walking with Him. My condolences to his family.

Sending our love and sympathy to Candy and each family member of Lee’s. My wonderful memories of Lee go way back to when he was a teen and spent time camping at our family’s campground in NH. All the way up to present day he has been a great friend and fellow Christian. Loved having him as a close neighbor on Lake Waukewan, his “ happy place” for so many years. Now he is in the happiest place of all. Well done, faithful servant.

To the entire family of Lee Callahan, my wife and I send our deepest condolences. Lee has passed from his earthly life into the realm of Jesus Christ in Eternity. I, Robert met Lee via the FFs for Christ International and, via the Fire Services. We read Lee's obituary which magnified Lee's character, his love for the job of serving in the Burlington FD, his outstanding Christ-like personality and, Lee's friendship.
We recall a time when Lee and Candy invited us for an overnight stay at their home on a lake in NH. It was a grand time. They took us to a favorite ice cream "farm" where the ice cream was made from cows at this farm. Lee loved ice cream. Also knew his first awesome wife who was strong and gracious even in the face of her cancer.
May the Lord give all the peace of Christ

It is with deep sorry I have read today about the loss of yet another Christian friend of mine who really showed me that you could be a public servant firefighter and God believer at the same time. I am so sorry for his loss and know that I am in prayer for those left behind. Chief, you will be missed.
