Denny,
You were a very special lifelong friend to me. I will always cherish the memories of our friendship as young kids playing hockey and baseball and having so much fun together with all of the other kids in the neighborhood. Going to Bruins and Red Sox games together was always a crazy, fun time. You always reminded me many years later, of who won the games, who scored a goal, hit a home run, and what the final score was. Your memory of those special times we spent together was amazing. Denny, I will never forget when I was going through some tough times, you came down to Florida to support me with words of encouragement and hope and really showed me what a very caring and loving friend you were. I will never forget your big heart, and how our friendship was something very special for both of us. You will always be loved and remembered forever by family and friends.
My sympathy and heartfelt condolences to Chris and Diane, Melissa and family.

I remember when we played Street Hockey and these “Super Blades” just came out. They were plastic hockey blades and you had to heat them over the stove burner to curve them. Well, Dennis comes out to play with half of the blade. He must have overheated it melting it in half! He didn’t seem to mind. He says to us, “hey look at my super blade!”
Denny had quite a sense of humor!

Our condolences to Denny’s family, sisters and extended family. Denny loved sports and we played a lot of baseball and street hockey as kids growing up on Woodside Terrace in Woburn, MA. Later in life we even played golf together at Trull Brook. (2008)
Denny was way too young to go and he will be missed. However, the memories of playing sports growing up will live on.
