So sorry to hear of this tragic loss. I will never forget Mark for his booming voice, sense of humor, and oversized heart -- I remember trading with him at flea markets. He was larger than life --- clearly present for everything, and enjoyed each moment. I was often struck by his sense of the big picture -- as if he were watching his own life unfold in a movie. He was a great character - not your everyday person. My heart goes out to his family at this time. He made the world a much better place.

Mark always left a trail ~ in his heart of hearts, he wanted what we all want ~ to be a good father, husband, son and friend. Mark was doing some work at my house in 2001. We were sitting in my backyard just after 9/11, discussing how /what we would have done, if we were on one of those planes. After the conversation, it was very clear to me, that Mark Murray wouldn't have given a second thought to risking his life trying to save those onboard. He wasn't bragging ~ he meant it and you could see it in his eyes... I believed him and I still do.

I first met Mark when I was 17 years old. We were neighbors and at a time in my life when I had no direction and really nothing in the way of a positive role model he popped his head up over our fence in the backyard and asked me if I was looking for a job. I was, and for the following few years after we were inseparable. Building ponds, mowing grass, planting trees, plowing snow, hanging drywall and any odd job in between to provide for his family. I didn't realize it then how much being around him had changed me for the better every day we went to work I learned a knew skill and I'm so thankful I had the time that I did with Mark and Sue who was one of the sweetest women I've ever met. She would go out of her way to pack me a lunch also and would bend over backwards for her at the time young children. Thank you Mark and Sue for all that you have done for me. To Mark and Kylie I'm deeply sorry for your loss.
How 'bout it Murray, Top of the Morning to ya

I’m so sorry for your loss! I only knew Mark and Sue for the last two years, but they were such great, warm, inviting people that I felt like I knew them for a lifetime. I’m going to miss them dearly! Here’s a picture of Mark signing Sinatra at karaoke a few weeks ago.
