We met Larry at the bus stop on Tony's first day of school so many years ago. Tony & Mike became fast friends. Soon after, before Mary was born, we met Eileen & Larry Jr. Most often when we'd see Larry around the neighborhood he was with Larry Jr. They were inseparable & had an amazing bond. I always admired Larry's devotion to him. Also to Eileen, Tony, & Mary. My sincere condolences to his 'family'. May this wonderful man RIP Love Susan, Mike, & Amy.

I not only lost my former brother-in-law, Larry Donhoffner—husband to my sister, Eileen, and father to Larry Junior, Tony, and Mary—but I also lost a dear friend. Larry was deeply committed not only to his family but also to the community. His contributions to society and the community will be remembered by all who knew him. He will be dearly missed by friends, family, and the community alike. May he rest in eternal peace.

We’ve been blessed to have Larry and Eileen as our friends and next-door neighbors for many years. Our daughter Lauren used to play in the back yard for hours with Mary when they were little. Larry and I spent countless days working in our yards and stopping for long talks together about family, life, work, and sports. I could never convince him that Boston sports were the best. He stayed true to his Pittsburgh teams and I always admired him for that. Most importantly he was a loving and proud father, and a guiding force in Larry Jr’s life. We’ll never forget him and know he’s in a better place now. Love, Harvey & Diane Abbott. God Bless !!

I love what you wrote about Larry Sr it captures his spirit & always loved to chat with you & Diane. We both cherished watching Mary & Lauren play together.

To Larry's family & friends, I met Larry & young Larry as my sister Brenda worked side by side for years at Gentest & developed a genuine friendship. When they came to my home to meet up with my sister, That day I met one of the kindest souls I've ever met. He loved his family to the moon & back, oh so proud of kids & all of their accomplishments. He will be missed, may he rest in peace & never be forgotten. Kathy Hickey

My husband and I really enjoyed camping right next to Larry,Larry and Eileen for many years. He was a great neighbor and friend. It was always nice to see how well he helped Larry Jr. get his point across when he spoke to us. Sadly Wakeda lost two great men this year. Larry and my husband Rob. Rest in peace dear friend. Have a Diet Coke with Rob!! Blessings to Eileen and the rest of his family.
