i knew Betty as a member of the former Mount Auburn Club where we enjoyed stories and exercised. We shared a passion for social work and community work. Unfortunately, we lost touch when she moved out of Boston area. So glad to hear that her life was so rich with friends, family, activities and in a loved location near the sea.
My deepest condolences to Carroll and the rest of her family...

Sending deepest condolences to all who knew and loved Betty. She was a strong, smart, creative woman who loved her family so much. My husband and I met Betty when we became friends with Nancy and Greg in 1992. I used to love how active and involved she was with Nancy. Exercise, baking ( cutting out ingredients to make something healthier), and learning. Forever learning. I loved her passion for social work, music and later painting. She was always open to personal growth. Her biscottis remain the best I have ever had. A life well lived and loved. May she rest in peace. Love, Kim and Dan

I had the pleasure of working with Betty for many years. She was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside. She was kind, genuine and had a great sense of humor. She was the best hostess whenever a group of us were invited to one of her delicious dinners. I so enjoyed listening to her play the piano which she loved playing for us. We were a crazy group and she was great to put up with our pranks( shorting sheets) etc. Betty was one of a kind and will be sorely missed! Forever in our hearts!

Unfortunately I never had the privilege of meeting Betty but know of her through my dear friend Denise. Betty lived a vital, full life impacting many. May she rest in peace and may you find peace holding your memories of her close.
