Obituary of Devin Stephen Rosberg

Devin Stephen Rosberg, a beloved son, brother and dear friend to many, passed away unexpectedly on May 23, 2023 at the age of 27. Devin was born to his parents Maria and Eric Rosberg and grew up in Burlington. Growing up, Devin had an infectious personality and he was incredibly easy to get along with. His circle of friends was ever expanding. He graduated from Burlington High School in 2014 and played some football during school.

Devin joined the workforce after school, first with Herb Chambers as a Sales Associated. Devin’s career only took off from there. In 2019, he joined VeraCode as a Business Development Representative and was promoted to an Account Executive. In February 2021, he joined HCL Software as a Regional Sales Director. A Regional Sales Director was a perfect job for Devin; he was able to put his congeniality to work. He could make a stranger feel like a life-long friend. He was one of very few to reach that position so quickly and without a college degree.  Devin recently bought a new home in Tewksbury.

Devin will be remembered as the life of the party. He loved being around people and spending time with friends and family. He was deeply devoted to his mom and loved spending time with her, whether it was hanging out having lunch, dinner, or just a cup of coffee. Devin always made a stop by his moms salon to drop off flowers or some food. He loved to go hang down the Cape with her and just enjoy a long weekend, dancing, singing, and some cocktails. Devin was most certainly a mommas boy and very proud of it. The infamous “Hi mammaa” will live on in her forever. The love Devin had for his mother lit an everlasting fire in both of their hearts.

Devin adored his little sister Erika. Everyone knew Erika and Devin as one. Devin and Erika spent many days together, shopping, watching movies, cooking, and going out for extravagant dinner dates. Devin never failed to bring Erika along to hang out with him and his friends. Erika and Devin were more than just siblings. Their special relationship bonded them together for a lifetime.

Devin and Drew were always a package deal. Whether it was screaming at the t.v. watching their favorite sports games, going line for line with a movie quote, golfing or enjoying each other's company over a steak dinner, they were always laughing. There was nothing like hearing the two of them laugh together poking fun at one another. Devin and Drew had the pleasure of being best friends and siblings. Devin and Drew had each other's back, they loved to talk about their future plans and bounce ideas off each other. Their bond was untouchable.  Like the others, Derek and Devin shared a special relationship too. The two of them shared something incredible. They both loved to reminisce on old memories together. Derek loved telling the story of skipping school to go to the Mac Miller concert 2010 and seeing Devin across hundreds of people crowd surfing having no idea how he got there. Derek and Devin were so close they shared the same friend group. In their younger years Derek and Devin caused some trouble together, throwing parties in the house, risking a scolding from their mom. In the end it was all worth it because those memories will last a lifetime.

Devin and his step dad Michael had a close bond. Whether it was hanging down the cape, cruising on the boat or just smoking a cigar enjoying each other's company they always shared a laugh. Devin took the honor of officiating the marriage between his mother and Michael back in October. Devin loved spending time with his mother and Michael, he would always go out of his way to arrange a dinner or quick weekend getaway.

Devin did not lack in the friend department. Him and best friends did everything together and had a strong bond. There were countless trips that the guys did together, some local golf trips, patriots games, and other sporting events, and some trips like the trip of a lifetime Devin and his friends went on to Las Vegas. For years the friends got together without fail and had a friendsgiving where they ate good food and reminisced on the good ole days. Everyone has a memory with Devin that they will cherish forever. Devin always spoke so highly of each of his friends, they all held a special place in his heart. He loved each of them in their own special way.

Devin was the beloved son of Maria Rosberg and the late Eric Rosberg. He was the caring brother to Derek Rosberg of Lowell, Drew Rosberg of Billerica, and Erika Rosberg of Burlington. Devin was the loving boyfriend of Julianna Ferraguto of Tewksbury who he was madly in love with. When Devin met Julianna they all knew it was game over. Devin met his soulmate. Julianna is a beautiful soul and will forever be a part of the Rosberg family. He was the cherished grandson of Joseph and Mary Rosberg of Lynnfield, Vincenza Salvaggio of Revere and the late Giuseppe Salvaggio. Devin was the dear stepson of Michael DeBye. He was the treasured nephew of Joseph and Theresa Rosberg of Medford, Maryann and George Cummings of Cape Cod, Karen and Sean Furey of Lynnfield, Phyllis Palumbo and her late husband Frank of Wilmington, and Rose Cayton of Florida.
