Barbara Rose (Yablonski) Topalian, passed away at her home on Wednesday morning, January 1, 2020. The loving wife of Robert G. Topalian, she was 84 years old.
Barbara was born, raised and educated in Chelsea. She was the daughter of the late Anthony and Mary Yablonski. Barbara and Robert married in 1961 and moved to Burlington in 1966 where they would raise their daughter Robin. Barbara was a loving and supportive mother to Robin. She always enjoyed spending time with her daughter, and was the greatest fan of everything she did, especially her cooking. Barbara was primarily a stay at home mom, but she did work part-time at Building 19 in Burlington for several years.
Barbara’s greatest joy were her 5 grandchildren. She was very proud of them, loved to show them off and introduce them to her friends. She was a fun grandmother that spent a lot of time with her grandchildren. Barbara would take them on trips throughout Burlington on the B-Line, the zoo and on shopping expeditions at the Burlington Mall. She enjoyed listening to Polish music and educating her grandchildren about their Polish heritage. Barbara had a great sense of humor and loved to tell funny stories. Barbara will be remembered as a loving and supportive, wife, mother and grandmother.
Barbara was the beloved wife of Robert G. Topalian. She was the loving mother of Robin Kuczynski & her husband Ed of North Billerica, formerly of Burlington. Barbara was the proud grandmother of Therese, James, John-Paul, Felicity and Evan. Visiting hours will be held at the Edward V Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt. 128/95 Woburn side) on Thursday, January 9 from 5-7 p.m., concluding with Funeral Services at 7 p.m. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers memorials in Barbara’s name may be made to Merrimack Valley Hospice, 360 Merrimack St., Lawrence, MA 01843
