Obituary of Daniel Jacobson

Daniel Jacobson, a resident of Burlington for the past 25 years, passed away after an extended illness at the Pine Knoll Nursing Center in Lexington on Saturday morning, May 15, 2010. The beloved husband of Carol A. (LaPuma), he was 77 years old. Dan was born, raised and educated in New York. He was the son the late Benjamin and Rose Jacobson. He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving his country in the United States Navy. Dan had a successful career as a photographer, specializing in weddings and portraits as well as the photography of exotic animals. His many interests included gardening, woodworking, painting, and cooking. Dan and his wife Carol also enjoyed traveling with friends and family over the years. Dan was the beloved husband of Carol A. (LaPuma). He was the father of Maris Brown & her husband Brian of Las Vegas, NV and the stepfather of Joseph Frazier & his wife Anne of Dracut. Grandfather of Alexandra and Christian Frazier. Visiting hours will be held at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Wednesday, May 19 from 4 – 8 pm with a prayer service being held at 5:30 pm. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Interment Private.
