Obituary of Lorraine F. Malone

Lorraine (Graves) Malone, age 69, passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2016. Lorraine was born on November 25, 1946 in Somerville, MA, the daughter of the late Roy and Frances Graves. Lorraine lived her first 14 years in Medford and moved with her family to Burlington, MA in 1960. She graduated from Burlington High School in 1964 and then married and had two children. Her independent and adventurous nature took her and her children to live in Honolulu, HI and then San Diego, CA. In 1980, Lorraine and her children returned to Burlington, MA. Lorraine was both mother and provider for her children and worked as a graphic designer, as well as a medical secretary. She enjoyed maintaining her lawn and gardens, as well as caring for her collection of Bonsai trees. Most recently, her greatest joy was simply spending time with her family. Lorraine was the the loving mother of Kim Angelo, of North Andover, and Steve Malone, of Lynn. She was the extremely proud grandmother of Kevin and Kristin Angelo of North Andover. A Memorial Wake will be held at the Edward V Sullivan Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 3 from 6-8 PM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend.
