Uncle Jimmy was one of a kind, my older brother Haden and I would visit him and aunt Jan at their home in Mass with my mom Wendy every year growing up. Younger me would always get so excited to go down and visit them, Jimmy and Jan would always have Disney music playing in the car for us as they took us places like mt Washington one year. Uncle Jimmy was one of the most generous people I knew and remembered. He was a special man and I feel lucky to have fond memories of him throughout my childhood from time to time. Sending all my thoughts, prayers and blessings to the rest of the family today.

Jim was one of the most generous man I know. He would give you the shirt off his back. And he showed so much love to our family. One funny thing about Jim was I had about 10 cookouts that he and Carlene came to and every one of them, he demanded to cook at the grill and he would tell me to re-enjoy the party. He was so loving to me and Carlene‘s grandchildren. We will miss him tremendously. God Bless and all our prayers and love, Ted and Lilla Barrett

Uncle Jimmy is one the most sincere and loving men I have ever had the privilege to have in my life. I couldn’t have asked for a better role model for my son Ryan and daughter Anna.
My heart goes out to Mary, Kathy, Tex, Bobby and all of his nieces and nephews. I’m sure Jan, Nanna, Aunt Binky and Richie were there in heaven to greet him with open arms.

I’ve only known Jimmy for three years and he couldn’t have made a bigger impact on my life. He really did have the biggest heart and was incredibly generous and always made sure those around him were taken care of. It’s an insurmountable loss for everyone, especially his family, who cherished him and whom he cherished back. How blessed I am to have met and worked for you and I can never thank you and your family enough for how welcomed and safe you always made me feel. I cherish the drinks and meals I got to share with you, as well as all endless wisdom, grace, pride and love you gave. Thank you, and my heart goes out to those reading this.

My Uncle Jimmy was like a father to me. He was always there when you needed him no matter the circumstances. Loved helping others and willing to give the shirt off his back if needed. He loved a good party and loved his family and friends even more. We miss you so much already.
